Surveys show poor floor sound insulation ranks among the top three residential complaints. The newly issued Code for Residential Projects (2025) has raised stricter sound insulation indicators. Targeting the core pain points in building high-quality residences, UBlok spent more than two years on technological research and development, and launched USI floating floor sound & thermal insulation system to solve architectural acoustic challenges with innovative technology.
Zhao Yongxiang, Chairman of the company, is full of confidence in this new product. He stated this R&D project is a key group initiative focusing on the construction of quality residences and fourth-generation homes, expected to become a new growth driver for UBlok. The USI system integrates sound insulation, fire resistance and thermal insulation functions. Adopting modified aerated concrete to form the sound insulation structure, it achieves impact sound insulation ≤60dB, far exceeding the national standard of 75dB. It reaches Class A1 highest fire rating and fully meets floor thermal insulation requirements, applicable to new construction and renovation of residences, hotels, hospitals and other buildings.
UBlok engineers designed two types of USI systems: standard type and floor heating type, together with standardized construction and quality control procedures to guarantee smooth implementation of floor sound insulation projects.
At present, UBlok has completed the intellectual property framework for the USI system and finished all performance tests for market launch. The company will soon kick off nationwide recruitment of provincial and municipal distributors, expecting USI to contribute UBlok’s technological strength to the construction of high-quality and fourth-generation residences across the country.
