On the eve of National Day, Zhao Yongxiang, Chairman of UBlok, and Xue Shuanqun, Chairman of Shaanxi Jingwei New Energy, signed the Technical, Management and Brand Cooperation Agreement, marking the official launch of UBlok’s first licensed partner factory in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
"We selected UBlok through rigorous screening. By combining UBlok’s strengths in technology, management and brand with Jingwei New Energy’s advantages in raw material resources, energy supply and geographical location, we will build Jingwei New Energy’s plant into a leading and competitive AAC production base in Northwest China, which aligns with our corporate strategy and interests," Chairman Xue stated at the signing reception.
Jingwei New Energy’s AAC plant is located in Xixian New Area, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, covering nearly 200 mu of land. It is only 20 kilometers away from downtown Xi’an and adjacent to two major power plants: Datang Shaanxi Weiriver Thermal Power Plant and Shaanxi Weiriver Power Generation Co., Ltd. The site boasts abundant fly ash, furnace slag, desulfurized gypsum and steam resources supplied by power plants. The factory has completed one AAC block production line with an annual capacity of 400,000 cubic meters and four autoclaved fly ash brick production lines, with remarkable advantages in resources, energy and location.
Licensed partner factory (also known as License Plant internationally) is a common business model adopted by global enterprises. It promotes exchanges and cooperation on technology, management and intellectual property rights among peers under commercial norms, maximizes the hardware advantages of assets and capital as well as the software advantages of technology, management and intellectual property, and achieves a win-win outcome for both parties.
Chairman Zhao Yongxiang said that licensed partner factories represent an important approach for UBlok to implement joint restructuring via resource integration and lean operation. In the future, UBlok will gradually shift its development model from capacity expansion through new construction to capacity optimization via restructuring, to drive high-quality development of UBlok and the whole industry.
Shen Xiaohe, President of UBlok, Zhao Wenjie, Vice President, Gao Peng, Director of Strategic Development Center, Liu Zhiyong, General Manager of Yu-Shan Operation Center, as well as Xue Leitao and Xue Leichao from Jingwei New Energy attended the signing ceremony.
