On July 22, UBlok and Oriental Yuhong Coatings, Mortar & Powder Technology Group formally signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement at Oriental Yuhong’s headquarters base. This marked that the two enterprises, which had maintained close communication for nearly half a year, officially entered an in-depth cooperative partnership.
Relying on their respective domestic and overseas market layouts, the two parties will fully coordinate in research & development, product supply, logistics and marketing. They will promote in-depth integration and efficiency superposition of advantageous resources, realize value multiplication through coordinated development and release the aggregation effect of "1+1 far greater than 2". In particular, leveraging their respective product lines and R&D strengths, the two sides will accelerate the launch of more high-performance building materials and integrated systems urgently needed for constructing high-quality residences, to meet the higher performance requirements of fourth-generation residences in thermal insulation, energy conservation, waterproofing and sound insulation.
"This is a strategic linkage between two leading enterprises in the industry," Chairman Zhao Yongxiang stated at the signing ceremony. "The high consistency of our business philosophies and strong strategic complementarity lay the foundation for our cooperation."
In 2024, the mortar and powder segment of Oriental Yuhong achieved operating revenue of 4.15 billion yuan, accounting for 14.8% of the group’s total revenue, ranking as the group’s second-largest business segment only after waterproofing. Established in 2021, this segment achieved large-scale development within merely three years. Its rapid growth not only set a new industry record for cultivating new businesses, but also reflected the forward-looking strategic layout amid the real estate adjustment cycle.
Regarding this cooperation, Wu Liangkai, President of Oriental Yuhong Coatings, Mortar & Powder Technology Group, said: "Integrating UBlok’s AAC panel and block business into Oriental Yuhong’s mortar and powder business will improve the completeness, timeliness and reliability of product and service delivery to our customers, thus lifting customer satisfaction."
